L1A or L1B Visa Stamping

Hi All,
I have a query pertaining to L1A/B Visa Stamping. Currently I am working for a US company 'X' for last six(6) months as a contractor and will be joining their India office in month of oct/nov 2013.

My question is Can the same company 'X' can file for L1A/B in March 2014 considering my US experience as well because as per USCIS "Generally have been working for a qualifying organization abroad for one continuous year ...." .

Which visa are you currently working on for X?

No. If you join India office in Oct/Nov 2013, you will be eligible for L1A/B in Oct/Nov 2014.
