Hi,
I held L1B visa that expired in Oct 2012. Due to change in my role, my company filed L1A visa (blanket) for me. I have a valid L1A stamped on my passport valid thru Oct 2018.
My wife held L2 visa and holds an EAD that expires on Dec 2013. Her I-94 is valid thru Oct 2014.
She did not travel with me for L1A visa renewal. So, her L2 (based on my L1b) expired last Oct 2012.
We have applied for her EAD renewal. I am concerned if we would face any issues with EAD renewal as the underlying L1 petition/visa has been changed and she does not have a new L2 visa based on new L1A petition. Or would her EAD be renewed until Oct 2014 (I-94 expiry date)?
