L2 visa - Maximum allowed date

Hi,
My wife and I are applying for L1 and L2 visas. I have few questions..

1) I would like to call my wife to USA after 6-8 months of my entry to USA. So should we apply for visa together now?
2) Is there any restrictions like she has to enter to USA after she got L2 visa in a period of time or she can enter anytime as long as her L2 and my L1 are valid?
3) Is it mandatory to enter both of us together to USA?
4) If she is coming to USA after 6 - 8 months, do I need to come back to India or she can directly come to USA in my absence?

1. Either way, it doesnt matter. Of course, she cannot go for L2 before you getting your L1 visa.
2.No. Either of you can enter as long as L1 is valid. But again, she should not enter US on L2 if you are not already present in US on L1.
3. No.
4. No need she can come on her own.
