Regarding L1 to H1 COS

Need information regarding change of status fromL1 to H1 . If I apply for change of status when I have to join the new company on H1. For the company which I am working has 15 days notice period . If the cos is in progress when I have to resign.

You have to start working with the H1 employer from COS effective date onwards and is approved.

So suppose if your H1 start date is 01-Nov-2013. You can submit the resignation on 16/17th Oct 2013.
