Can L2 Visa holder Stay back and work if L1 visa holder has to go back to india

Hi,

I have one question , is it possible for L2 visa holder to stay back in US and work legally even if L1 visa holder has to go back to india(in 2014) but work for same company. Both L1/L2 are valid till 2016.

No. L2 is a dependent visa. Without L1 there is no L2 status.
