L2 Visa - Can one work in US and draw Indian salary?

Hello Experts

I havee a question, can i apply for a L2 visa while currently employed in India? If yes, once my L2 is approved, is it possible that i work in US (from home) without a EAD and draw Indian salary for few months before i resign from Indian company? Will there be any complications when i apply for my EAD as i had worked in US for few months but drawn Indian salary?

You can apply for L2 while being employed, no issues.

You should not work while on US soil on L2 without EAD irrespective where the salary is credited.
