L1B - Query

Hello,
My husband is applying for L1B. He has got his petition already but waiting for my passport to be dispatched which could still take a couple of weeks.
We are uncertain if he should wait until I get my passport to apply together (L2 for me and our kid) or go ahead and apply for him now and later apply for us(dependants).
It would really help if someone can help us with your past experiences.
Also just curious as how long could it take to book an appointment with the consulate?

Though it doesnt matter. I personally would suggest you all go together for the visa stamping, it simply avoids the hassle of multiple interview bookings.
