L1A Manager to technical role

Hello Experts,

I came to US on L1A visa and my previous(outside US) & current role is Manager. Can I switch to technical role in same organization though I am on L1A. I have few questions as below.
Please guide me

1. Can I switch to technical role from Manager role being on L1A visa? If yes then which one is allowed Technical Manager role or individual technical contributor role?
2. Can I continue my work in technical role if I am on L1A visa with same organization?
3. If yes then do I need to undergo any legal or update process for this change?
4. If no then what are the alternative process/solutions that will allow me to continue my work in technical area for same organization in US
