L1 A extension RFE - Is it a black mark if extension gets rejected ?

I have got RFE for my L1A visa extension. Now I am in a dilemma whether to respond for the RFE or not. Can any one tell me if it will be considered as a black mark for any of my future USA visa application OR any other country visa if my EXTENSION gets rejected ?

Not responding to RFE before the deadline, or leaving US without responding is as good as abandoning the extension request. If RFE responding is something that can be done smoothly and you have strong evidence I would say go ahead respond to it as soon as possible.

The outcome , if negative , will Not have any negative affect, unless its because of fraud. Only thing is that if your I94 has already expired then if L1 extension is denied you will get barely a week to pack up and leave.
