Consulate Interview with Kid

Hello,

We (Me, Wife and Kid of 3 yrs) will be going for VAC on 20th Nov and 22nd Nov in the interview at Hyderabad location.
As per the instructions applicants below 14yrs not require to attend the appointment at VAC or at Embassy/Consulate.
But in my case no one else are staying with us and there is no option to leave the kid at home. So what is the suggested approach or experience for others with similar situation.

Kids below 14 years are not mandatory which means you can attend with kids. I attended with my Kid (8 years old) at Hyderabad Consulate.

Thanks kjreddy for your input. Does that need any special request for allowing them or we can simply take them in. Any input will be helpful.

You would need to fill DS-160 for the kid too and take him/her along with you.
