L2 EAD Extension - When L2 Extension is Applied

Hi ,

I have a Question on L2 EAD Extension.

I am on L2 which is going to expire on 2nd Jan 2014 . I am working here in USA on my L2 EAD which is also going to expire on 2nd Jan 2014.
We Applied for L1-L2 Extension through my Husband's Company . We got the Receipt for submitting the L2 Application yesterday.
Can I apply for EAD Extension with the receipt? If Yes do I need to go for Biometrics? Do I need to get any Letter from my Company stating of "extending my work " which will make the process faster?
Can I get the EAD for the time till we get approval or denial notification from the USCIS on our L1/L2 status?


Also is there any customer care number where we can call and enquire on EAD Extensions?

When is L1 I94, and l2 I94 expiring/

Typically L1, L2 Extension and EAD extension are all filed together. I dont know why you didnt do so.
But yes, you can file for EAD extension with L1/l2 extension receipt but the approval will come only after your L1 and L2 extensions have been approved.
You dont need letter from company.
