I have 4+ years of IT experience in Cognizant, Chennai. My company has recently initiated an L1B Individual premium type visa.

What is the possibility of getting it approved?

What are the challenges I might expect?

Is it easier than L1B Blanket?

4 years experience for L1 individual seems too low, unless you have built a new product for Cognizant. You have better chance with H1.

Thanks for your reply Raghavi. have created couple of tools for Cognizant and one of them will be implemented for couple of States in US. I am the only experienced candidate in those areas. Hence my company insisted me. They also said that Blanket is difficult and approved for L1B Individual Premium. This week it will be submitted for petition processing. Just had thought on the possibilities and thats why I have posted it.

Did u speak to any of your Colluges or friends who processed under L1B-Individual.Whats the success rate of L1 Individual over L1 Blanket.
