help me understand USCIS processing timeframe
Hi,
My company has field L1 individual on Oct 2nd, 2013 under regular mode and it is still in initial review. I was reviewing the Vermont Service Center timeframe(which my petition is filed) and the processing timeframe for I-129, Petition for A Nonimmigrant Worker, L - Intracompany transfers is August 7, 2013. I understand that the center has processed all the petitions that were filed earlier to that date.
The confusion is, at the start of the page the posted date is November 20, 2013 while just above the chart it says 'Field Office Processing Dates for Vermont Service Center as of: September 30, 2013'. Is it that USCIS processed the petitions by Nov 20 in which case they took 3.5 months(Aug 7 to Nov 20) or by Sep 30 in which case it is almost 2 months (Aug 7 to Sep 30).
Please clarify on this. In general, how many months it is taking to get a decision on L1 individual these days? And what are the approval rates?
