  • EAD renewal

    Hi,

    Details are as follows:

    Husband's L1b visa expired on 23rd July'13, I 94 valid till 2015. My visa expired on 23rd July'13, I 94 valid till 2015 and ead expired on July'13.

My husbands company is going to apply for the extension after few months as his i94 is still valid till 2015.

My question is will they accept my ead application on valid i94 and expired visas. Or do I need to first extend my visa and than apply for my ead.

Need assistance as soon as possible.

Your spouse cant file for extension as I-94 is valid for more than 6 Months in future.
EAD will be as per your spouse's I-94 OR your I-94 OR your passport expiry date whichever is the earliest.

As long as you not planning to leave US you should get an EAD till 2015.

This is my opinion not legal advice.
