  • L Visa interview along with dependents

    Hi,
I need a suggestion on attending L1 visa interview along with dependents.
    1. Is it beter to attend individually and if we get the visa then apply for the dependants or
    2. Appear to interview along with dependents all at the same time.

I want to know how the visa officer would consider the case in both points.

    Please let me know.

It doesnt make any difference to the officer. Purely from a time and effort perspective I would suggest that all attend it together.

This is my opinion not legal advice.

      I've a little confusion like
if we appear indvidual without dependents the consular office may think that the candidate has family ties in home country and will return back.

what are the chances for this kind of thinking?

      Please let me know.

This may be valid for a B1/B2 decision but not for a L1 decision. I would rather advice you to concentrate your interview around skills that will define your uniqueness for L1 eligibility.

From my observation.. people with family have better chances for visa stamping...so it is better to go together..
