converted from h1 to l2-EAD, can i apply for h1 extension after i140 is approved
hi,
My h1 physical stay of 6 years is about to end in March'14
My wife is on L1, so i am planning to convert to L2 and then apply for EAD so that i can continue to work on L2-EAD even after 6 years h1 physical stay would be over. L2-EAD, however would also be over by Sep'2014.
While i would be on L2-EAD, my employer would be filing the I140 (PERM) for me.
How can i continue to work in US after L2-EAD is expired in Sep'14?
Assuming that the PERM i140 would be approved before the L2-EAD expires in Sep'14 -- Can i apply for H1 extension on the basis of labor approval?
Not sure if H1 extension be filed if i have already converted to L2 by then.
