    To answer to your questions
    1. If you never had H1 in past 6 Years , then a fresh H1, if approved, can start only from 01-Oct-2014 or later. You cannot work for B before that time.
    2. On L1 you can work only for company A, you cannot use L1 to work for company B. If company A doesnt have work for you till Oct 2014 and asks you to leave, then yes ,you would have to leave.

If you have any follow up questions please post in L1 forum. http://www.immihelp.com/forum/forumd...L-Visa-(L1-L2)

Its a question which thousands of H1 aspirants are seeking answers too, but I believe if you have the right skill sets in demand there would be lot of employer willing to wait that longer. You can work for them from outside US till H1 is approved.

I dont see any other straightforward options apart from H1. You can try non profit employers who are exempt from H1 cap. If your current employer wants to send you back unfortunately you cant do much till you have an H1 approved petition from another employer.

      A gentle question..

      Sorry Raghvi,

Need to know one thing about my L1 visa interview.

I am applying for L1 this week and India government's latest diplomatic issues with US makes me worry on my interview. Do anyone thinking that it will affect these in interview results. (Please consider this question as a burst out of curiosity.. )

      Thanks in advance

I dont think that the "diplomatic row" has any impact on decision making processes. All Officers are professionals and I dont think they would let their personal opinions and bias dictate the decisions . Its a different matter that if some ones visa is rejected blames it on the "diplomatic situation".
