L1B extension Denied but Valid I94

My L1 B expired October 2013 and my extension was filed and my L1B extension got denied this month. I still have my I94 Valid till November 2014. I have 2 questions here.

1. Can I stay and work with my current employer till November 2014 on my I94. Will there be any negative implications in my future VISA processing if I continue my stay ?
2. Can My Employer or another New Employer apply my H1B during 2014 quota ( I never had H1 before). If applied, Is there any chance of Visa rejection due to my L1 B denial ?

What was the necessity to apply extension when your I-94 was valid till Nov 2014? USCIS will generally reject extensions if the I-94 is valid more than 6 Months in future. What did the rejection notice say?
1. If it is not indicated otherwise in the rejection notice, yes you can stay and work till I-94 or 5 Year L1B stay completed whichever is earlier. Of course if you leave you would have to go for fresh stamping.
2. Yes possible. Your L1B denial shouldnt impact H1 unless the L1 extension was denied due to misrepresentation.
