H 4 visa is approved while L1 B extension is pending

I need clarification/guidance for below case, Please help
my L1 B visa got expired on Sep-12-2013 and extension filed on Sep-4-2013
my husband's L 2 visa also expired on Sep-12-2013 and extension filed on Sep-4-2013
As my husband got H1 in Jul-2013 through some other consultant so I filed L1 to H4 COS on Sep-10-2013 for my stay to be valid in case L1 B gets rejection
L1 to H4 COS got approved and is effective from Jan-02-2014 but my L1 B extension result is still pending.
so what steps should be taken for below case
do i need to drop resignation immediately as L1 to H4 COS got approved,
Can I continue to work as my L1 B extension's result is still pending though H4 is approved
And in case L1 B extension is approved after dropping resignation then will it overwrite my H4 status and in that case will i have to go back as I wont be able to join my employer back or how can I continue to stay here with my husband
