I was in US on H1b & went to US Embassy in Canada on 3/13 for L1A visa stamping (consul processing) where they put it for admin. processing.
On 10/13, US embassy mailed me to appear in person to Canada to get visa stamp. They gave me 4 months to get the stamping. My employer asked me to find onsite inorder to travel.
So it was delayed & I was afraid i will be losing visa because of this. So I requested US embassy for extending the deadline. But they said, its not possible. Atlast my employer approved for travel to get visa stamping (i.e.2 weeks before the deadline) & am visiting Canada next week
At this stage I got the mail from consulate yesterday asking, what your current situation is & Officer would like to have another interview with you at the Embassy or via telephone.
I'm confused what should be purpose of the second interview since in the earlier mail, they were just asking me to submit the passport to get visa stamp. Please advise !!
