L1B Blanket || Date of Intended employment on I129S and Interview date

All - I have found this forum so useful for everything you need to know on the whole process in the past few weeks.

I am just waiting for hard copies of my Visa documents for a L1B blanket to reach India. Now it is expected early next week and I may get an appointment for the Vis ainterview next week or the week after (Not sure at this point)

However my I129S has an intended dates of employment as 1/25/2014 to 1/25/2017.

I have two clarifications and would really appreciate if someone could chime in here from past experience or from an Immihelp personal opinion :

1) 25th Jan is a Saturday - Is it OK to have a intended employment date falling on a saturday?
2) If i get an appoint for 27th or 28th or even later - Is this OK as per guidelines to appear for an interview after the inteded employment date. I only have seen you can appear for interview upto 90 days in advance but havent seen any guideline of post start date.

Would really really appreciate if someone can answer this and help me.

1. It should be fine.
2. It should be fine. Any time post start date but of course before the end date, and for obvious reasons not a day or two or a month before end date....
