L1B extension

Hi,
My L1B visa was expired last year and I-94 is valid until 17th august. my company is going to file L1B extension. So, in case if the extension gets rejected before august, the I-94 date would still be valid until 17th august?

Yes, unless otherwise stated in the denial notice.
