L-1 extension approved

hello
a friend of mine got his L-1 extension approved.
he got another 2 years
now he plan to apply for greencard, so after getting green card is there any condition to fulfil on L-1 visa to follow or does he have to renew L visa after 2 years since he already has greencard??

will he get a conditional greencard in this instance?

If he gets green card he has to fulfill conditions of GC, he need renew his L1 past the 2 years. Unless he is applying in EB1, and gets it approved in EB1 I dont think he will get GC in next 2 years.
