Query - Should L2 Visa person be accompanied by L1 Visa holder at port of entry?

Hi All,

One of my friend was saying L2 visa holder should be accompanied by L1 visa holder at port of entry. Is this right? I really doubt it, but wanted confirmation from experts.

For my wife L2 visa will be processed after my visa stamping and she will travel after 2 months of me traveling to US.

No such law or requirement. Both L1 and L2 can travel independently won their visas.

The only issue that could happen is that if you two travel separately , both of you could potentially get different I-94 end dates.
