I have L1B valid 2015, I am in a confusion ,

should I continue with L1b or transfer to H1B( **** **my dependent is working in L2 **** **)

Which one is best/fast for GC process ? H1B or L1B ?

GC processing is different from H1/L1. In fact for very basic understanding you can consider GC as a different visa category altogether.

Now how long does it take depends upon whether the future job profile belongs to EB1/EB2/EB3 category, depending upon that it can take 1 - 12 Years as of current trend. 90% of the cases fall under EB2- Eb3 category, that is as of current trend, would take 8-12 Years.

As L1B can be for max 5 Years eventually all who are on L1B would need to end up moving to H1 in order to continue staying in US till GC comes.
