L1 petition approved but extension denied in error by USICS

Our company filed for an L1A extension for me this month . I got my Petition approved but the extension was denied. The reason was stated that I was out of the country (US) when my extension is filed. But, I was never out of the country (US). I never travelled anywhere outside the country in last three years.
My company immigration dept has raised a service request to correct the error. I will have to wait for two weeks to hear from them.
Anybody has any suggestion on how to take up this case. If this is a mistake of USICS will it be corrected? What are the implication of this ofs to me.
Any suggestion is appreciated. Please respond quickly so I can plan.

If they erred they would correct it you just have to wait it out patiently.

thanks Raghvi, I am keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best. I hope the OFS would not impact my future extension or when I go for stamping to India.

@chinni123 wat u mean by approved petition but extension denied pls le me know my case is that we applied for extension got rfe and today got mail saying extenstion denied and u can choose the possible options but still my company has not received the reason for denial and they have not mentioned any option pls share exp mine is l1a extension

The I129 petition is approved. I got an extension denial ( L1A) letter for - stating the reason I mentioned. I didn't have any possible options. what do you mean by possible options ?
I assume they will send some denial letter. Based on the you can take a decision. Whether you can appeal or leave the country immediately.
