L1B approved, small question on L2

My L1B (L1 Blanket) has been approved. I am going to US for about 4 months as of now. My husband wants to apply for L2 and join me there for a month. We both might go for long term at a later date.

Can there be an issue in my husband getting the visa on the grounds that I am going for short-term and hence L2 for him is not justified ?

I don't think that this would be a ground on which L2 visa would be denied.

I got L1B RFE on Mar 18, 2014,and I am preparing the RFE below:

Position Involving Specialized Knowledge: If the position of Senior R&D Engineer is a
position which involves specialized knowledge, list the beneficiary's primary duties that
involve specialized knowledge. Indicate why others have not acquired this "special" or
"advanced" level of knowledge of your company's equipment, system, product,
technique, research, service; and/or processes or procedures; and explain how the
knowledge involved in the position is different than other Senior R&D Engineer employed
by the foreign company or others employed in similar positions in the industry.
