L1 and L2 visa extension

I got my L1 and my wife got L2 in december 2012. We got it for 3 years.
WE came to US in January 2013.
My passport expires in june 2015 and my wife’s in june 2016.
SO, we both got I94 till june 2015 only.
1. SO, if I get my passport renewed in june 2014 ( 1 year before expiry), Then Is there any chance to extend my I94 till december 2015 ( visa expiry) ?
2. My wife passport can be renewed only in june 2015 ( 1 year before expiry), how do I extend both of our visas when my visa expires/ I94 expires ?

Three options after your passport renewal:
a. Go to nearest CBP office and request for an I-94 to match your visa expiry.
b. Leave US, and re enter.
c. Apply for extension in US around Jan 2015.

Hi Raghvi, thanks for the advice.....may I know if I am applying for extension in Jan 2015, and my wife's passport expires in June 2016.....how does it work ?

She would get I-94 only till June 2016, and in Jan 2016 or later till Jun 2016 you can apply for extension for her.
