Applying SSN along with L1 VISA

I am applying for L1-Blanket VISA. My HR has asked me to apply for SSN card as well. Is it possible to apply for SSN along with non immigrant VISA apllication. If Yes , then please guide.

No. Unless you are in US it wouldnt be possible.
