L1-B Extension is going on for and I-94 will expire Apr 2014. If I travel outside USA after I-94 expires, will USCIS continue with the extension processing or stop it?

Extension request is to extend ones stay in US. If you travelling outside what are you trying to extend once you are outside US?

If your visa hasnt expired you would get a new I-94 upon re entry.

And if your visa has already expired you anyhow have to get a new visa to try re entry.
