L1B getting married to a B2 visitor in US

I am an Indian national and L1B visa holder working in the US.

I wish to get married to my girl friend, who is in India right now. We wish to get married in Las Vegas.

I have two questions

1) Can I (on L1B Visa) get married to a person on B2 Visa inside the United States?

2) If the answer to the first question is yes
Can my wife [who will be on B2 Visa after marriage] apply and get a L2 [Dependent Visa] here in US or
she will have to necesscarily go back to India and get the L2 visa done there?

Does she already have a valid B2?

1. Yes.
2. Yes you can apply B2 to L2 while in US. If it is approved than she need not go back to get L2 visa stamped.

I dont see any issue with this arrangement as long as she has a valid B2 in passport, and B2 to L2 is applied before her B2 I-94 expiry. If she doesnt have a B2 the biggest challenge will be to get a B2.

She doesn't have a B2 visa as of now, and she will be applying for one now.

Will it be difficult for her to get B2 visa for this purpose.?

B2 purpose is tourism and is generally approved if one has a strong reason to come back to home country.

Her B2 will depend upon her ability and documents to convince the officer of the same.
