  • Please Help: L1 Visa "One Year Employment" requirement

    Hi,

I am working in the Canadian branch of a US company where I work full-time but have fixed term contract with them , I do work full time and I am completely under the umbrella of this organization, the only thing is my employment contract is a fixed term which extends whenever it expires. I have already worked with my company for more than 2 years and now my company wants me to shift to one of its US office. Since H1B is over for this year, is it possible to get L1 visa on this type of employment?

I am an employee of this company but does fixed term contract matters for full-filling one year requirement ?

    Thanks,

Which attorney and how can I reach them? Can you help please?

I get my payslips as a regular employee and everything is same (I have payslips for more than 2 years), I have my tax returns and T4 slips and I get medical insurance and everything what an employee gets, the only difference is I have a fixed term contract with them and not a permanent employee, am I still be eligible?
