Hi,
My brother is having following problem.
He got Visa on March 30,2005.
He have been deputed to US on 29th Sep 2005 on L1. Actually his visa type wrongly printed in my passport, instead of L1, L2 is there.
Before reaching the US, no body found out.
Air port Immigration officers found that my visa is L2. He shown them my petition and company offer letter. Then they have given to him I-94 up to Sep-28-2008 and told him that I need to contact US embassy and get visa updated to L1 at the earliest. His social security request has been withheld due to this reason.
Please suggest me how my brother can proceed to get my visa get ready.
Also, my brother want to ask her wife for L2 visa to come to US.
In his visa it is printed like this:
Visa Type Class: R L2
Annotation BLANKET L1
Should he go for new L1 visa or how to proceed with this problem.
