Conversion from H1 to L1 blanket visa in Canada for us associates
HI,
I am working for a Indian MNC on H1 visa and I want my wife to work here as my project requires me to stay a longer period in USA, so I want to convert from H1 to L1 so that my wife can join me here and work on L2, she works for an Indian MNC back in India. my company has already initiated the process. I want to know few things before facing the interview. If anyone can help that would be great.
1. what can i answer when the interviewer asks me why are you converting from H1 to L1 while your H1 is valid till 2014 dec?
2. If I answer that I have the necessary skillsets to be on L1 Visa and my company wants me to be in L1 and then what should be my answer if the interviewer asks me you can perform the same thing in H1 also then why L1?
3. If anyone has gone through this kind of scenario, please let me know questions answers you went through in the interview.
