New H1 from F1 previously L1

I am currently on F1 VISA and previously worked for my employer 4 years. Now my H1B got picked up and need to get the H1 stamping.

I have question like whether my previous stay of 4 years counts to my H1B 6 years limit.

Can any one answer the question please.

Yes, the L-1 will count towards the 6 years limit unless you stayed outside the U.S. for at least a year between the time you were in L-1 status to when you obtained your new H-1B.
