L1 Individual denied.

My L1 Individual got denied with the following message.

On May 13, 2014, we mailed you a denial decision notice for this case I129 PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER. The notice explains why the denial decision was made and the options that may be available to you. If you have not received this notice within 15 days of May 13, 2014, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for further assistance.

During this step the formal decision (approved/denied) is written and the decision notice is mailed and/or emailed to the applicant/petitioner. You can use our current processing time to gauge when you can expect to receive a final decision.


I work for MNC and company attorney was hopeful for it, as she believed that it was one of the most strongest RFE reply that she filed.

I want to know what are my other options other than H1B?

1: Can I ever apply for L1B Individual ever and if yes when can I reply. I mean is there any cooling off period ?
2: Am I still eligible for L1B Blanket ?
3: or any other category that I can apply for ?

L1 Visas have been facing high scrutiny off late as the nature is to be super specialized in particular company product/process etc.

1. Yes you can, there is no cooling off period as long as you and your immigration team believe that more substantial evidences can be submitted which were omitted earlier. What was the reason for denial?
2. Your eligibility of Blanket is based on the criteria of L1B, if you and your organization are eligible yes you can apply but with a L1 Individual rejection, chances are very low of a L1 Blanket approval.

If you cannot wait till next year October 2015, best bet would be to re apply L1 individual with even stronger documentation.

Can u please tell me when have u filed ur petition and when u have received your RFE?
