L1 B visa can get a green card ?

Hi
Need advise. My husband is holding an L1 B visa my question is :
1. If his L1 B visa expires can he apply a new one ? for example he resign in the company .
2. If my husband go back to the Philippines but his L1B visa was not yet expired , as a wife can I still stay in the US using L2 visa?
3. Can my husband apply for green card using L1b VISA? What are the requirements?
