My Wife is on L1 Visa working in US for on site Project .I am with Valid L2 (Dependent )Visa planning to resign my job in India after 6 months & travel to US.
I understood EAD is required for getting a Job in USA and it will take 60-90 days to get that
My questions are
1.To Avoid sitting idle for want for EAD for 60-90 days . I am thinking to travel now itself for only 15 days and apply for both EAD,SSN and come back to India.
Is it possible to apply with in this 15 days ??
2. Is my presence required in USA to receive the EAD and SSN once its ready or my wife can collect it ??
3.What else can be applied in this short duration (Like driving licence ,Bank acc etc )?
Seniors pl suggest.Urgent now.
