Hi,
Here is my current situation - I am in US with valid I-94 (expires May 2015) but my L1B got expired a year back. I field for converiosn to L1A and it got denied recently.
As H1B cap got closed for this year, now I am planning to go for 'L1A stamping in canada' instead of L1B as i heard in canada it will get approved. Is this a good option? please advise.
Secondly, my passport is expiring in Feb 2015 -- so should i first renewal my passport then go for the above process or is it ok if i proceed with the current passport?
I heard canda visitor visa will be given based on passport expiry date but i am not sure whether L1A visa also will affect based on passport expiry.
Kindly adivse on best options to proceed.
