Good day! Sorry If I am not following the forum rules. I am new here.
I have applied for a L1B visa from India and I need help in knowing how, where and when i should make the payment for $500 blanket fee. I was suppose to attend an interview with the consulate yesterday but as the blanket fee was not paid in 1 days advance to the appointment date (As per Chennai consulate website :link below), I had to be a no show. Colleagues from US, helping me with the visa process, were not aware of this and they thought blanket fee can be paid after the interview at the counter.
And now as i am a no show , how to proceed further? When can i schedule an appointment again? Do I need to pay $199, Visa payment fee again?
Could anyone please guide with the correct procedure?
