  • Clarifications - scheduling appointment for L1B

    Dear All,

I have one question about scheduling appointment for L1B visa. During filling "personal data", I need to fill petitioner details.

Petitioner's Name : My company Name
    Start Date :
Receipt Number: I have it in I-129 petition
Expiration Date: My passport expiration date

I am not sure about start date. Is this really my passport issuance date or something different?. Please clarify this point and also let me know I am filling correctly.

I believe you need to fill the I797 Start and end Date. If it is L1B Blanket then there typically would not be an expiration date.

This is my opinion not legal advice.

I797 Start date. End date can be your assignment end date.
