I moved to US on H4 visa 5 months back during my Maternity leave. I was employed with an organization back in India while traveling to US. I drew salary for 2 months in INR during my 5 month stint. Now my company wants to file an L1 for me.
- Is this a possibility, to convert H4 to L1? I believe last 3 months pay stubs are required and I was on loss of pay for 3 months.
- While applying for H4 there was a question if I was employed in India. I had mentioned as No. Will this pose as a problem to me while conversion?
- Will I have to travel back to India for visa stamping?
Any insights on these questions would be greatly helpful.
