L1 fraud detection fee Demand Draft

Hi All,

I have questions about L1 fraud detection fee Demand Draft. In consulate website, it is mentioned that we need to take demand draft in favour of "U.S. Consulate General, Chennai"

My clarifications are

1. It should be payable at chennai?

2. Is it necessary to take DD in Axis or Citi bank only or shall we take from any banks like HDFC or ICICI banks (Except Co-operative banks).

These questions might be silly but I want to confirm these points.

Need L1 Fees info

Hi,

I am in a confused state too, any suggestions are much appreciated.

I know that there is a $500 feed for L-1 Blanket, the question that I have is, Do i have to pay the $190 + $500? or is it just $500? I personally think its both for a total of $690 but carry the $500 as DD.
