Does any one having any idea about what is this rule...I read it in internet , but its kind of confusing. the reason for this question is, I am in US for last 3 and half years. Now as my company got its name changed, they want me to apply for a fresh L1 visa when I am in US.So is it necessary that I should be in Indian office for last 1 yr period?

What would be the relationship after name change? Is name change only in US or abroad?
Many of these things would not be known to the employees too. Advised to talk to company immigration team.
This is my opinion not legal advice.
