Can i go for L1B since H1B lottery for 2015 is not positive

Hi Friends,

Can you please provide your valuable suggestion on the below case.

My employer applied H1B this year and the lottery result is not positive so far (almost its confirmed that result will be not positive), so my current employer planning to process L1B soon.

1] Can i go for it ?
2] If Yes, What should i answer in L1B interview if the officer asks "You just applied for H1B and since because its not through you have come for L1B" ?
3] Any other tricky questions should i expect ?

1. Yes if you qualify for L1 visa.
2. They would not ask this question. They would most probably question your basis of L1 and you have to convince them of that.
3. Check the experiences section. L1 visas are more scrutinized than H1.

The convincing reason would be that your company must be having a need for a person with your skill set for their project in US. Explain those project details and how your skill sets fit that.
