Hi all - and thanks in advance for any information.
I will have an L2 visa (my wife will have an L1), and I will travel to the US. I will then apply for an EAD to allow me to work.
My plan is to return back to my home country while the EAD is being processed. When I receive the EAD, I will then move to the US and take up a job there.
The fly in the ointment will be the biometrics appointment. I will return to the US if required to attend a biometrics appointment - but I am wondering on average how long after applying for an EAD will the biometrics appointment occur?
I realise this is not an exact science and every case may differ - I'm just wondering what the average experience might be. Anyone have an opinion?
Thanks in advance.
Simon
