L1B Visa Extension

Hi,

My L1B Individual was approved in Oct 2012 but I came to US in May 2013. Can I get an extension for this time frame(oct 2012 to May 2013) in addition to the 2 years regular extension because I was not physically present in US for that time frame. I heard some where that if you are not physically present for some time though you have a valid Visa then you can take extension for that particular time period.

You can but its all the same, the initial 7 Months recapture would be assessed similar to the 2 Year extension request.
