  • L1A Visa with Expiry Date of Oct2018 but PED/I-94 of Aug2015

    Hi,
I have a valid L1A stamped on passport with Expiry Date of Oct-2018. However, it has a PED(Petition Expiry date) of Aug-2015 and I-94 till Aug-2015.
    My Question is:

For getting my L1A extended beyond Aug-2015, Do i need to visit a US consulate outside of US and get a new visa stamped again ? OR,

While staying in US, Can I file a fresh petition with USCIS through my employer to get the petition approved and new I-94 beyond Aug-2015?

    Please Advise.

    Thanks

You can apply the same while being in US, no need to go out of US. Dont you have an internal immigration team taking care of this.

This is my opinion not legal advice.
