Next options after L1A Blanket Visa got rejected

Hi Visa Experts,

My L1A Blanket visa got rejected last month.

I am planning to apply for L1A Individual.
1. Is there a cooling period for me to apply for L1A Individual?
2. What are the options i should look for after L1A Blanket rejection?
3. Are there chances of L1A Individual Visa rejections? If Yes, what is the %'s for acceptance and rejections?

I looked out many threads, but not got right answers.

So please help me.

2. L1A individual and H1 are the two options.
3. Yes any visa has chances of rejection. There are no statistics available in public domain as the %age of success. What were the reasons of L1A rejection? Try to provide evidence with respect to that .

Thanks a lot for your time and providing these inputs.

I am not sure why my L1A Blanket got rejected. I have 10 years of exp in Testing. I am account mgr presently in offshore and managing a team of 18(includes onsite and offshore).
Questions asked during my L1A Blanket:
1. Where u will b working? client location or at your parent comp?. I said as i need to manage multiple projs in the same account i will be working at client location.
2. Salary at onsite? Said around 84K.
3. Who is ur client? Told him the client name(one of the world's biggest retail manufacturer)
4. Whom you are reporting to? i said, "Retail delivery head".

He stopped questioning and gave a blue form saying "not clearly approved"?

What is wrong in my answers?

Raghvi, can you also tell me how much it costs for L1A Individual visa processing. My current comp is one of the biggest MNC.

I don't think USCIS/Consulate Officers are easily approving L1 cases, large MNCs or not, especially if the MNC belongs to IT Services sector. Product based company seem to be having larger success chances.

As for rejection I believe 10 Years is slightly on the lesser side, that too in Testing domain. And I believe 84 K is low, a 100K+ figure sounds more "Managerial" or "Executive". Also, L1s visa holders by nature aren't supposed to be based at client location

You can only report to a person from your organization not to someone from client organization. This is the reason your application got rejected.
