I have a question on the process of L1B to L1A conversion -
I'm currently on L1B and my current visa is going to expire on 27-Sep-14 (this is also my 5 year max out date). My employer filed for L1B to L1A convesion 2 weeks ago but we haven't received any response from USCIS. Today my employer converted the application to "premium processing".
Now, as my 5 years maxout date is 27-Sep-14. So -
a. If my L1B-L1A application is pending with USCIS then is it legal for me to stay and work after 27-Sep-14?
b. If suppose I get RFE then also is it legal for me to stay and work after 27-Sep-14 until the RFE is responded?
